Homes in Ventura are more affordable than other Palo Alto neighborhoods located similarly. In 2006, the median home was priced at $876,000 and the median condominium sold at $625,000. Otherwise, home prices ranged from $580,000 to early $1.3 million and condos ranged from $555,000 to $692,000.

Ventura’s main draw is its excellent education provided by the Palo Alto Unified School District schools, including Barron Park Elementary, and Juana Briones Elementary Schools, Terman Middle School and Gunn High School. Theses school score high on the API and are required to submit accountability reports to the community which can be viewed online.
