Blossom Valley Neighborhood —A union of four Mountain View neighborhoods
Springer Meadows, Blossom Valley Estates, Gest Ranch and Varsity Park come together to form the neighborhood of Blossom Valley. Located in Mountain View, CA, between Springer Road and Miramonte Avenues and bisected by Cuesta Drive, Blossom Valley is desirable for its sense of community and walking distance to all levels of Los Altos schools.

Most of the homes in Blossom Valley began as 1950s tract developments and are ranch-style houses. However, many residents have renovated or remodeled their homes since and new developments have been proposed. The median home within the Mountain View, CA neighborhood was priced at $1,137,500 in 2006 with prices dipping as low as $882,000 and reaching as a high as $1.5 million.
Nearby Mountain View parks include Varsity Park and Cuesta Park. The Blossom Valley Shopping Center and Rancho Shopping Center are within walking distance.
Each of the Mountain View neighborhoods sponsors its own community events, though there is plenty of intermingling throughout Blossom Valley. Varsity Park hosts a 4th of July party and each year Springer Meadows holds an autumn potluck at the beginning of the school year. Mountain View also hosts Halloween parades and Easter egg hunts as well as holiday caroling.
The Springer Meadows Neighborhood Association was formed with the help of the Mountain View Community Grant Program and has its own newsletter, The Springer Meadows Star and has recently formed a Yahoo! newsgroup. The association has also established a neighborhood watch program.
The association also address community concerns, such as traffic, the sale of the Satake Nursery and other proposed developments within the area.
Blossom Valley Neighborhood School Information
Blossom Valley falls into two school districts, the Los Altos School District and the Mountain View, CA-Whisman School District. Los Altos School District, includes Springer Elementary School and Blach Middle School scores somewhat higher than Mountain View-Whisman, which includes Bubb Elementary School and Graham Middle School. There is also the private St. Joseph Catholic School nearby. Students continue onto Los Altos or Mountain View High School, which are both part of the Mountain View-Los Altos Union High School District.
