Eichler homes are a remnant of the mid-century modern design movement, providing an alternative to the cookie-cutter aesthetic of most tract homes. Many of the homes are occupied by the original owners, and some have been renovated to twice their size, adding a second story or expanding outwards. While many homes have an excellent view of the mountains, visibility is a bit obscured by expanding houses.
